Моряки пели: “Врагу не сдается наш гордый моряк, пощады никто не желает...” Есть живые свидетели. Пусть пролитая кровь наших людей превратится в цветы. Вечная память павшим героям!»

На лівому хресті: «1941 г. – 1945 г. Великой Отечественной войны. Сырець. Бабий Яр овраг 40 м глубины наполненый убиенными военопленными, моряками Советской Армии. Семьи военослужащих привезли 300 человек облили бензином и спалили. Расстреливали военопленных и кровь лилась рекой до реки Днепра. Извозили в этот овраг с Бульвара Шевченка всех расстреляных и от шибеницы, от рук немецких фашистов и националистов, гнали и били дубинками, швидше скорише. В январе 1941 г. босыми и обнаженными и наполняли овраги, каждый вбитый – СВЯТОЙ. Живые свидетели, очевидцы, на этом святом месте поставили крест. Ференец Мария Яковлевна, Друкаренко Владимер Андреевич, Стасюк Александр Владимирович, защитники Отечества, семья боевых действий: Шкура Петро, Уляна, Маруся, Галина Ефимовны. Вечная им память.
